The French Immersion program is offered at 15 schools (including St. Marguerite d’Youville) across the YCDSB and is designed to provide non-francophone children with a high degree of proficiency in the French language. While any exposure to a second language is beneficial, French Immersion broadens and deepens that exposure.

On Thursday, December 17, we will be celebrating our school Advent / Christmas Liturgy via Google Stream at 10:45 a.m. led by our English stream Grade 5 students (Ms. De Thomasis and Ms. Doggart). All parents/guardians and remote learners are welcome to attend virtually.

During the last week of school before the Christmas break, St. Marguerite d’Youville will be getting into the Christmas spirit with theme days, both for our in-person and remote learners! As well, in the morning from 8:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., we will be playing Christmas music over the P.A. System. The theme days are as follows:

The Board issued a notice on November 19 detailing the following:
If buses and other forms of school transportation are cancelled due to inclement weather, all schools will be closed
