Once again, St. Marguerite d’Youville is pleased to be hosting its “Terry Fox Walk” on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. We at St. Marguerite d’Youville continue to have two very important goals for our walk; to have all of our students be able to articulate why Terry has become such a historic figure within our Canadian history and to raise funds, in his memory, towards his dream of one day finding a cure for cancer. Through our participation, we hope that students will be able to view themselves as agents of positive change.
Toward these goals, we at St. Marguerite d’Youville will be asking our JK – Gr. 8 students to bring in an optional $2.00 cash donation (in a clearly-marked and sealed ziplock bag with the words “Toonie for Terry”) on Tuesday, September 28 (rain date is Wednesday, September 29).
