On September 18 at 1:15 pm, the school will have our first Liturgy of the Word in the gym for the students, staff and any parents/guardians who would like to attend.   The liturgy will offer special prayers for a former teacher of SMD, Mrs. DeNoble, who passed away in August.  Please keep Mrs. DeNoble in your thoughts and prayers.

Welcome back to school to all our families and a special welcome to our new families.  We are looking forward to a wonderful school year.  On the first day of school, you will receive the September newsletter and calendar for important information about St. Marguerite d’Youville CES and upcoming events.  Please check your child’s schoolbag regularly for school communication.

The last Mass of the year will be on June 22th at 1:30 pm at OLA Church, and led by our grade 8’s.  It’s a wonderful way for our students to celebrate the successes and learning of this past year and to wish the grade 8’s the best of luck in high school. The Catholic School Council is hosting our annual School  Barbeque on June 19 after school, starting at 5:00 pm.  The BBQ will include inflatables, a ride, and a DJ.  There are raffles, popcorn, a bake sale, BBQ food, an ice cream truck and more. There will also be some surprise guests.
