On November 15, we are having a Humanitarian Relief Loonie/Toonie Day to help those affected by the recent hurricanes in the Caribbean and Mexico. We hope our staff and students will donate for this worthy cause.

SMD Feast Day & Thanksgiving Mass Oct. 13 at 1:15 pm
We hope our parents will join us on Oct. 13 at 1:15 pm in the gym for our St. Marguerite d’Youville Feast Day Mass. We welcome Fr. Peter who is our celebrant for the mass.
Picture Day on October 11
Parents please mark October 11 on your calendar for Picture Day for our students and staff at SMD.
Catholic School Council Meeting Oct. 2 at 7:00 pm
On Sept. 20th, SMD had our first Catholic School Council meeting to form our new Parent Council. On Oct. 2nd we will have our 2nd meeting to start planning fundraising events and parent engagement events for the year. All parents are welcome to attend.
Terry Fox Run – Oct. 2 (rain date)
The Terry Fox Walk for our school had to change to Monday October 2nd because of the rain on Sept. 29. We are hoping for great weather and raising money for cancer research. We are asking each student to donate a toonie for this worthy cause.
