We welcome back to school all our students, staff and parents on September 5, 2017.  We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable summer and that this new school year will offer all of us exciting new opportunities to learn and grow.

On September 29 students and staff will be participating in the Terry Fox Run. We look forward to supporting this very worthwhile charity to continue Terry Fox’s mission to cure cancer.

SMD’s first Catholic School Council meeting is on September 20 at 7:00 pm in the library.  We rely on parent volunteers for your support to help us organize many school events and we encourage our parents to join our Catholic School Council. On September 21st at 11:00 am in the gym, the school will celebrate our first prayer celebration of the new school year.  All parents are welcome to attend.

We will have our Curriculum Night on September 14, 2017 at 7:00 pm.  It is a wonderful opportunity for parents to meet your child’s teacher and to learn about the curriculum goals for this school year.  We look forward to seeing all our parents at the school that evening.
