WINTER “CARNAVAL” at St. Marguerite d’Youville will take place the week of February 19-22. The French Department is organizing some fun activities for each day of that week such as theme days, Bingo, Play Day, and of course, Bonhomme Carnaval!
On February 6 & 7, Jump2Math will set up math mat activities in the gym for all classes with the grade 8’s helping as leaders. The second day will culminate in a Family Jump 2 Math Night. The school will have our Remembrance Day Liturgy on November 9th at 10:45 am in the gym. We thank Mlle. Vetro’s & Mlle. Turco’s gr. 2 and 3 classes for organizing the prayer service for the school.

We are all looking forward to our first fundraiser this year of a Halloween Dance-a-thon on October 31st. For families who submit their pledges early to the school, there is an early bird draw on Oct. 26, 29 and 30. Our first Mass for the school year is on October 16 at 10:45 am. It is for the Feast Day of St. Marguerite d’Youville and therefore very special for our school.
