St. Marguerite d’Youville’s Carnaval Week will take place from Monday, February 5 to Friday, February 9. The week will be filled with fun activities for all students. Please see below for a list of activities expected during this week:
Monday, February 5:
- Red, White and Blue Day!
- Carnaval BINGO Begins (Monday to Friday)
- Bonhomme Face Decorating Contest Begins!
(Monday to Friday) - Bonhomme visits SMD! (Monday to Friday)
Tuesday, February 6:
- Jersey or SMD Spiritwear or School Colours
(Red/White/Black/Grey) Day! - Play Day (FDK and Primary—9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; Junior—1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.; Intermediates will be Team and Station Leaders)
Wednesday, February 7
- Toque/Hat and Scarf Day!
- School Wide Winter Walk Day
Thursday, February 8
- Fun in the Sun Day! (Wear your summer hats,
sunglasses, t-shirts, etc. to bring some sun to SMD!) - Hot Chocolate Café in the Morning
Friday, February 9
- Pajama and Special Stuffy Day!
- Bonhomme’s Last Day at SMD
- Bonhomme Head Decorating Contest—Winner Revealed
- Carnaval BINGO—Winner will be Revealed
- Class Winners of Carnaval Spirit Week Revealed
