The countdown to Christmas is officially underway! Our Intermediate Student Council has been working hard to bring SMD a Christmas Spirit Week! During the week of Monday, December 13 to Friday, December 17, student council has arranged various activities and competitions (i.e. snowman decorating for the classroom doors, candy cane guessing) and overall good cheer! On Friday, December 17, the Grade 8 students will be organizing a “Christmas through the Arts” presentation for the staff and students at SMD! As well, each day during our SMD Spirit Week will have a theme! The theme days are as follows:
Monday, December 13 – Christmas Socks or Wear your Favourite Socks Day! Spirit Event: Door Decorating Contest
Tuesday, December 14 – Hat and Toque Day! Spirit Event: Fall Fundraiser Raffle at 2:40 p.m.!
Wednesday, December 15 – Christmas Sweater or Wear your Favourite Sweater Day! Spirit Event: Candy Cane Guessing
Thursday, December 16 – Green, Red and White Day!
