The 2020 Christmas season is quickly approaching and St. Marguerite d’Youville will once again be supporting the Holiday Heroes Campaign. We are asking families, if possible, to donate a new, unwrapped toy for children of all ages. We have a toy bin in the front foyer that will be used. Every few days, and in accordance with COVID protocols, the office staff will be boxing the toys for pickup. Since the launch of the campaign 23 year ago, York Regional Police has raised more than $2 million for families in need during the Christmas season. This year’s school toy drive will run from Monday, November 16 to Thursday, December 10. A one-day pick up has been arranged for the morning of Friday, December 11. One hundred percent of donations directly support the children and families from our York Region community who are in need.
