On Thursday, December 17, we will be celebrating our school Advent / Christmas Liturgy via Google Stream at 10:45 a.m. led by our English stream Grade 5 students (Ms. De Thomasis and Ms. Doggart). All parents/guardians and remote learners are welcome to attend virtually.

During the last week of school before the Christmas break, St. Marguerite d’Youville will be getting into the Christmas spirit with theme days, both for our in-person and remote learners! As well, in the morning from 8:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., we will be playing Christmas music over the P.A. System. The theme days are as follows:

Please be advised that there is a new YCDSB Inclement Weather Procedure, which was recently revised for 2020-2021 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Board issued a notice on November 19 detailing the following:
If buses and other forms of school transportation are cancelled due to inclement weather, all schools will be closed
Progress Reports will be available on Monday, November 23, 2020 in printed and electronic formats. Further to previous communications, students who are attending face-to-face (in-person) will receive a printed report card on November 23, 2020 at school. The 2020 Christmas season is quickly approaching and St. Marguerite d’Youville will once again be supporting the Holiday Heroes Campaign. We are asking families, if possible, to donate a new, unwrapped toy for children of all ages. We have a toy bin in the front foyer that will be used.
