Our students’ Cross Country Running Meet will take place on Oct. 18 at Bruce’s Mill. We look forward to a wonderful month of training, and encouraging our students to lead an active life.

St. Marguerite d’Youville CES will participate in the Terry Fox Run on Sept. 29, 2016. Students will be guided on a walk/run around the school neighbourhood to raise funds for cancer research. We hope our families will support us in this worthwhile charity. The Rain Date is Sept. 30, 2016.

Parents and Guardians of St. Marguerite d’Youville’s students are invited to a Curriculum Night on Thursday, Sept. 22. There will be 2 sessions in the classrooms: 7:00 – 7:30 pm and 7:30-8:00 pm. Teachers will offer presentations on the curriculum and student expectations for the 2016-2017 school year. We hope to see you then.

Our first Catholic School Council Meeting of 2016-2017 is on September 14 at 7:00 pm in the library. We hope to see a good turnout of parent volunteers to help us with subcommittees this year to work in partnership with the school. The work of the Catholic School Council benefits our students in many ways. We hope to see you then.

All Families of New Students to St. Marguerite d’Youville are invited to an OPEN HOUSE at the school starting at 10:00 am. The principal will do a tour of the school and answer any questions that our new families may have. We hope this will offer a smooth transition into our school for the first day of school.

Welcome back to school to all our students and also our new students to St. Marguerite d’Youville. School starts on September 6, 2016 and the bell rings at 9:00 am. Supervision outside begins at 8:45 am. In case of inclement weather, students will go to the gym and their teachers will meet them there. The staff is looking forward to a great school year! ...
